Here we are on lovely Ana Maria Island, just South of Tampa (my childhood home) for our yearly beach vacation. Last summer it was NJ, but this summer we made it down to Florida for serious sun and sand.

Alex swims for the second time
On our Florida vacation, Alex started swimming without his floaties! Since he was a baby, Alex has always taken to the water, and been almost fearless when it comes to swimming but yesterday he just stepped into the small pool at our rented beach house and "doggie paddled" around without missing a beat. Next up, we will teach him "free style", "breast stroke", and most importantly - peeing in the pool discreetly
